Our first recruitment day is rapidly approaching and here you’ll find all the information you’ll need to ensure things move smoothly on the day.
When is it?
We have four recruitment days. They will run from approximately 1pm to 3pm on the following dates:
Saturday 29th October
Sunday 13th November
Sunday 27th November
Sunday 11th December
Where is it?
All of our recruitment days will be held at:
Holly Lane Sports and Social Club
There is on site parking (50 pence for 2 hours, £1 for 5 hours). There is free street parking around the club, but we ask that you consider our neighbours and park respectfully. There are changing facilities and toilets on site for your use.
What do I need?
All you’ll need is suitable footwear (we suggest studded boots) and suitable clothes. We also suggest that you bring a mouthguard for added protection. Anything else required for participation will be provided by the club.
What will I be doing?
You’ll be meeting some of the coaches and players involved with the Bulls who will run you through a series of drills designed to give you an insight into American football, Bulls style. You’ll try out a wide range of drills that will give you a perspective on multiple positions in the game and give you a taste of what we do week in, week out during the season.
Can I attend multiple sessions?
Yes! In fact, we encourage it! We find that rookies tend to attend more than one session every year. The more you attend, the better feeling you’ll get for the sport and the club, you’ll meet new faces each time and become more familiar with your fellow rookies.
How much does it cost?
Each session costs just £2 to be paid upon registration on the day.
